Arleen Whelan (1916-1993) was a movie actress who appeared in over twenty films, among them DEAR WIFE (1949), CHARLIE'S AUNT (1941), YOUNG MR. LINCOLN (1939), and KIDNAPPED (1938) playing small parts. She also was on Broadway during the 1940s in THE DOUGHGIRLS & OH BROTHER. She later did bit parts on various television shows in the 1950s. Ms Whelan was married three times: Alexander D'Arcy (1940-43) the Egyptian actor; Hugh Owen (1943-53) a Paramount executive; and Dr Warren Cagney (1960-61) Jimmy Cagney's brother and who's name she used till her death from a stroke in Laguna Nigual, Ca.
