They have scuffing, light marks. The leather spine is affable, worn. The contents have age tanning and mild marks. They are tight, amenable, congenial, clear, certain. Vol II: the boards are worn all about. The leathered corner at the foot of the front cover has worn away. The other three corners are worn but sure. The spine has wear along the seams, the head and the foot. It is fit and functional. The contents are benign, placid, clean, clear, aged, avuncular. Vol III: in similar condition to the companion volumes. In this case all three leathered corners are present. They have wear. The contents are gratifingly elderly.
