In addition to editing numerous periodicals and reference works, he also compiled The Jews in Nazi Germany (1933, 19352) and was coeditor of the Contemporary Jewish Record (1938-45) , and chairman of the editorial board of Who's Who in World Jewry (1955, 19652) .
