From the colophon, "This first printing of Comma I by William Saroyan is offered to members of the Zamorano and Roxburghe Clubs as a keepsake at their 24th joint meeting in Los Angeles, October, 1998, by Roxburghe Club members Michael A. Keller and James Robertson. The manuscript, written in 1931, was selected from the William Saroyan Papers at Stanford University by William McPheron, curator of the collection and Michael A. Keller, University Librarian. The manuscript was set in the Spectrum type face and was printed from the type by James Robertson at The Yolla Bolly Press, Covelo, California. The paper is Somerset Book, mould-made, in England by St. Cuthberts Mill-Inveresk. The illustrations were drawn by Bill Prochnow and reproduced from photopolymer plates, One hundred twenty-five copies were printed for members of the Zamorano and Roxburghe Clubs. Additional copies were printed for the Stanford University Libraries, the William Saroyan Foundation and the artist." Copy come with a white envelope. Copy is very clean and complete.
