The American Legion played a role in the trial of Harry Bridges, a labor union leader, and was among several right-wing organizations that pressured the U.S. government to deport him. 10 1/4" x 13 5/8." Back cover has an advertisement for San Francisco Bank with a black and white reprinted photograph of a scenic home. Former ownership stamp of John W. Howe in the top margin of the back cover. Covers are clean and intact overall except for a split along the front cover going up about halfway from the bottom edge and a split along the back cover going up about 2 1/2" from the bottom. The Wasp magazine was political and satirical magazine that ran from 1876-1941.
