Includes a small portrait and a biographical note, "Sylvia Plath, nineteen, a junior at Smith College, Massachusetts, spends summers at odd jobs in search of material for her writing -- also for the money; one result is, 'The Perfect Setup' which won as honorable-mention in Seventeen's last short story contest." Story begins at page 100. From the opening paragraph, "Gray fog was raveling thin along the beach and small waves folded over on each other in a lather of dirty white foam. The whole shoreline was bleached out in a soapy haze. Over the noise of the tide came the screams of children playing down by the water." Very scarce, early prose from the poet and author.. Magazine.
