From 1946-1948, Pacific Pathways ran as a monthly magazine. Beginning with Vol. 3, No. 5, the magazine changed to a quarterly. Each issue is replete with black and white and color photographs of scenic areas and points of interest in various western states of the U.S. Each issue contains articles that give a brief tour of each featured destination. This issue contains the following articles: "Rainier National Park, Washington," "Coloma, Living Ghost Town," "Trout Fishing in Central Oregon," "Old Spanish Days Fiesta, Santa Barbara, California," "Lake Arrowhead, California," "Coastways" [about destinations along the Pacific Coast Highway, US-101], and "California Thoroughbreds" [about the revival of horse racing in California]..
