Hastings, an American evangelist writer, that defends the Bible, Jesus, and the Christian religion. Hastings refers to many stories and uses his own reasoning to convey his message in defense of Christianity. For example, Hastings addresses the criticisms of non-believers and gives his counterarguments in response to them. He ardently defends the validity the Bible and maintains that it was divinely inspired. He notes how the Bible is not associated with criminal enterprises and has turned many downtrodden or iniquitous people toward a life of morality. He also notes how the Bible has withstood criticisms and attacks over the ages and has withstood the test of time. The illustration on front cover depicts one of Hasting's anecdotes in the pamphlet about a young non-believer living the lifestyle of a rogue who begins to embark on a path of converting to Christianity and starts to find peace..
