The excessively scarce first issue of this noted and important series. A good copy in the original pictorial wrappers, the front wrapper having chips to both upper corners (left upper corner triangular chip 6cm x 6cm; upper right corner 2.5cm x 7cm), and a triangular chip to the lower right corner 4cm x 5.5cm; spine worn with chipping at both ends; rear panel edgeworn with two tears 9one large transverse approx.15 cm long, with associated lamination surface loss almost all from blank area of advertisement; the last leaf of text torn but intact; some light marginal oil stains to lower blank margin of final few leaves, in no case touching the text. Despite all these faults an intact copy of a very scarce book, and the only example we have come across in the past five years.
