A single large folio sheet, 44cm x 27.5cm. SAbib records only 4 incomplete holdings of this publication which extended to XXVI chapters, ranging from incomplete (exact issues unspecified) sets in the Library of Parliament Cape Town, and the South African Library Cape Town, a single holding at the Johannesburg Public Library (Nos.XVII / XVIII) and no XIX in the Wagener Collection at the Department of Education Library Pretoria. Some staining and light edgewear, else a complete undamaged example. No copies have appeared in the market over the past 40 years, and this represents one of the scarcest examples of early Cape printing by this pioneer printer. Greig is perhaps best known for his role in the publication of the South African Commercial Advertiser, and the subsequent struggle for freedom of the press in the Cape Colony.
