Between 1901 and 1922, Ms. Farrar appeared in 29 roles and giving 500 performances until her voice gave out. Her most famous role in films was as 'Joan of Arc' in the silent film Joan the Woman in 1917. She has two stars on the Hollywood Walk of Fame (the film star is missing).
