In fine state with fine cloth covered slipcase. With a preface by David A.Lewis who also provides 'Notes on the Text and Designs', plus a three-page biographical note by Omar Pound, the son of Dorothy Shakespear and, possibly, of Ezra Pound. The first printing with these striking black and red Shakespear designs, executed in the 1930s for a new elaborate edition which was subsequently abandoned following Pound's fascist activities during the Second World War.
