Second printing of the first edition, issued within weeks of the first printing. A presentation copy, inscribed by the author at the head of the half-title: "For Syndey & Nessie with much love, Elizabeth 21 June 77", the recipients being Scottish poet W.S.Graham and his wife. Slim 8vo. 55pp. Card wrappers featuring a portrait drawing of the author by Jack Rummins. Some light soiling to the wrappers, and just a trace of wear to one or two extremities. Pencilled highlights (probably Graham's) to the margins of a number of the poems. A very good copy, lacking the unprinted paper protector. A two-page introduction by Jill Neville precedes thirty-nine poems. The author's second collection of verse, following a silence of over thirty years since her debut 'By Grand Central Station I Sat Down and Wept' (1945). [A light item. UK postage will be reduced]..
