These formative musical experiments are recounted here for the first time,together with Hugh's involvement with Kai Hansson,a notorious bank robber and the band's benefactor,who was Sweden's public enemy number one.Hugh returned to London just as punk was about to gatecrash the mainstream music party,and he describes both his own and The Stranglers' abrasive early years, through to their public acclaim.
