The Italian-German Cultural Institute, chartered 1954- post WW2, is a non-profit cultural association that deals exclusively with German culture & language. It is a partner of the Goethe-Institut, Germany's most important cultural institution abroad. The Goethe-Institut certifies German language educators for schools at all levels. This handmade album may have been created by Freidel Brunner-Flossmann [whose name is on the rear pastedown]. The album celebrates likely the first Italian-German Friendship Cultural Exchange held in Macerata in 1955. It features 120 excellent black and white photographs with hand drawn borders & flourishes, and hand written script. Album size 9"x10" inches. The photos depict the sights, scenes, and people during the Aug. 18-22, 1955 tour-- in excellent condition.. Photographic Image. Book Condition: Very Good. Binding: Hardcover
