With two-colour map illustrated endpapers and various illustrations by the author. A small bump of the fore edge of the upper board, and a touch of marking to the cloth at the rear board. Binding very slightly cocked. A very good copy in non-price-clipped dust wrapper, a little toned and dust soiled, with a touch of nicking to the spine panel ends, one small area of enclosed loss, and a single short tear to one natural fold. This is the first issue wrapper, with two lines of blurb at the head of the rear panel, followed by advertisement for the eight previous books in the series.
