First Edition (first printing). A presentation copy, inscribed by the author on a blank preliminary and dated the year of publication. Slim 8vo. 41pp + [ii] maps. Cloth-backed paper-covered boards, lettered in brown at the upper board. Illustrated with two maps, and eighteen plats of photographs taken by the author. The boards soiled, and with some fading to the margins of the rear board. The corner tips lightly rubbed. A nice crisp copy of an uncommon item, considerably enhanced by his contemporary presentation inscription. The author's first book, considerably expanded from his September 1921 lecture at the Woolhope Naturalists' Field Club, Hereford and serving as the foundation to his renown work 'The Old Straight Track' (1925) which pioneered the study of ley lines..
