The fourth ‘minor edition’ of Theodore Beza’s Greek New Testament (first printed in 1565). Beza’s text was a significant influence on English translations of the Bible leading up to the King James version of 1611. Beza himself (1519-1605), generally considered to be one of the most learned Reformation scholars, became Calvin’s coadjutor and successor at Geneva., Darlow & Moule 4651; Adams B-1713.
