All illustrations are present: an engraved title-page and eight plates. 347 pp., + [1] pp. adv. 16mo., contemporary brown calf, red leather label to spine, title stamped in gilt, all edges speckled brown. Near-contemporary ink ownership to reverse of the first plate and the final free endpaper; pencil ownership to front free endpaper. Occasional light to mild foxing throughout. The leather is edgeworn and rubbed to surfaces. Both boards are nearly detached; each is attached by single sewing cord. The ffep. and the first plate are attached to the top board.
