8vo - over 7? - 9? tall. unclipped DW with edge wear and short edge tears, large chips from head of front panel and spine, some foxing to the book, accused of poisoning her husband, Florence Maybrick was found guilty and ordered to be hanged, of note is that the recent 'Ripper Diary' has been claimed as belonging to her husband and that he was the Ripper and possibly she killed him knowing this, in this work however Morland concludes at worst Florence allowed her husband to kill himself slowly due to an addiction to arsenic, 254pp+ plates.
