[Originally and first published Sept. 1954,a 2nd impression in April 1955 and a 3rd imp - this edn in Nov. 1955.] NFINE/VG-.Neat ink gift presentation inscrptn and contemporary date (22nd December 1955) to reverse of ffe and author's handwritten,blue ink signature - without dedication - to title page and price-clipped dw/dj.Bright, crisp,clean, matt,wrap-around colour pictorial artwork by David Knight,illustrated dw/dj with black outlined red,and black outlined white lettering to front,black lettering to a slightly darkened spine /backstrip which has a small closed tear at head and miniscule loss at foot of spine/backstrip.
