Adair, Cecil (Evelyn Everett-Green) : The Dean's Daughter

Stanley Paul & Co, 1925

322 pages (complete). In general very poor condition. Cecil Adair was one of the pen-names of Evelyn Everett-Green who was best known for her righteous and pious stories for children. However, once she moved abroad to Funchal she wrote mainly romances under the Adair name. The cover is grubby, marked, stained, worn. It is nonetheless strong and firm. The spine is faded and worn but secure. Other than previous owners it was once held by Germiston Municipal Library in Johannesburg with consequent debris, damage, annotations, stamps and markings and usage. The pages are very tight and confident and assured. fk. Book Condition: Poor. Binding: Hardcover. Jacket: No Jacket
