The list of possible suspects seemed endless - and the weapon,in a building full of medical instruments, impossible to indentify. This is the first detective story by a new (then 1970) Australian writer with a well founded appreciation of the rules of the classic murder mystery. All the clues are here and the red herrings, and he does not cheat. For all who enjoy a good detective story Charles Whitman is a name to add to the select list of superbly dependable practioners.A very nice, superb, uncommon title/copy of author's debut novel.
