209 pages (complete). In German throughout. Kern was a National Socialist to his dying day. His denazification after the war was treated by him with indifference and scorn. Many of his book, this included, aimed to revise history's view of many of Nazis, the Nazi military leaders and their activities during the second world war. This, on Pannwitz, a hero to many Cossacks and Nazi-sympathisers is part of this devotion. Pannwitz was the last commanding general of the main Cossack cavalry regiment of the war. He was turned over, together with his men and their families, to the Russians despite previous reassurances from the British that this would not happen. The book is in good, smart condition. The dustjacket is intact, secure with some wear and creasing about the extremities. The cover is fresh and tight. The contents are almost as new. They are clear, clean, direct, very certain and firmly bound. fk. Book Condition: Good. Binding: Hardcover.
