Corner tips lightly rubbed, and with a little quite light fox spotting throughout. Several small areas of insect nibbling. A former owner, seemingly overcome by the hand-coloured illustrations, has coloured-in two of the 'o's in Beaumont's preface. Handsome former owner bookplate to the front pastedown.
