Original publisher's multicolored wrapper with an illustration showing two men, two women, a girl, and a dog standing near a stone wall in a snow-covered landscape. Back cover has multicolored advertisement for Cream of Wheat. 11 1/4" x 16." Fifty-two pages, complete. Many black and white illustrations and advertisements throughout magazine, complete. Pages are very clean and intact overall, but there is some chipping at the spine and a small tear on the right side of the back cover. Woman's Home Companion is a monthly magazine that includes short stories, serialized fiction, and current news and covers topics such as housekeeping, sewing and crafts, and the latest fashion trends of the time. Woman's Home Companion was very successful and ran from 1873-1957. This issue has many fictional short stories.
