It provides a brief biography on Goudy and his type designing career, how he began producing his own typefaces, and some examples of his work including most of his "lost" typefaces. Also included is a smaller beige booklet measuring 6" x 9" that is a reprint of the catalog, A Specimen of Types Designed and Engraved at the Village Press (1938), which lists some of Goudy's typefaces and their prices.
