19th century half calf with marble boards, spine in five compartments of raised bands with gilt floral motifs, morocco gilt text on 2, green endpapers., A fine collection of hand coloured plates in excellent condition, Oblong folio, 232 lithographed plates brilliantly and exquisitely hand coloured, showing window draperies, bedroom and dining room furniture, treatment of walls and ceilings, bed draperies, chairs, screens, sofas, footstools, folding chairs, piano stools, etc.

Some of the plates are classical in name only such as Louis XIV,XV, which show the Victorian interpretation of these periods. A collection of the plates in this number is very
rare.
