Program is very clean and intact except for slight age toning, a few small wrinkles, some offsetting on back panel, and light pencil inscriptions in top margin on front. A Very Good copy. Program for performances by different music artists of songs by prominent composers. The composers are Oscar Weil, Edward MacDowell, Frederick Warner, Sidney Homer, Gertrude San Souci, John W. Metcalf, Benjamin Whelpley, William Veach, Ethelbert Nevin, Campbell-Tipton, Albert I. Elkus, and Mabel Daniels. Performed on the occasion of American Day.. Ephemera. Original publisher's beige paper program; one leaf. 5" x 7." Printed on front, complete. Program is clean and intact overall but has a couple horizontal fold lines, slight age toning, a vertical band of offsetting to the right on front, and offsetting on the back. A Good copy. Program for a performance by the Kneisel Quartet, a string quartet that was founded in Boston in 1885. It was a leading string ensemble in the United States at the time and enjoyed international success. The group retired in 1917. Over the years, different members took the positions of 2nd Violin and Violoncello. Two of the players named on the program, E. Franz Kneisel and Louis Svecenski, played their respective positions of First Violin and Viola for the entirety of the quartet's formation. As suggested by the group's name, Kneisel was one of the founding members.. Ephemera. Book Condition: Collectible-Good. Binding: No Binding
