Faint, purple stamp of the "California Development Board, San Francisco" on front cover. Pages are very clean and intact except for slight bumping at the lower-right corner of the fore-edge. Covers are clean and intact overall but have some wrinkling and a closed tear measuring about 3/4" from the fore-edge on front cover (tear affects part of the San Diego County illustration). Each section has about one paragraph of text explaining the subject. The Panama-California Exposition was held from January 1, 1915 to January 1, 1917 in San Diego to celebrate the opening of the Panama Canal and to promote the city of San Diego as the first port of call in the United States for ships traveling northward once they passed westward through the canal..
