Photograph shows an ornate dining room at the Parisian Grand Hotel with chandeliers, mirrors, and numerous empty chairs and tables. Title is printed below the right image (and on the back of the board in six different languages). "Series 1894, by Bert Underwood." is also printed under the right image. "Strohmeyer & Wyman, Publishers, New York, N.Y." is printed on the left side of the board. "Sold only by Underwood & Underwood, New York, Liverpool, Toronoto-Canada, Ottawa-Kansas." is printed on the right side of the board. Strohmeyer & Wyman was a stereoview company co-founded by Henry Strohmeyer. Strohmeyer took most of the company's pictures when it was first established. Underwood & Underwood was a publisher and distributor of stereoviews and operated from 1881-1940s. Bert Underwood (1862-1943) was one of Underwood & Underwood's founders.. Photographic Image.
