The deluxe issue, printed on handmade paper and limited to 110 copies, 100 of which are for sale (this copy numbered 114 and marked "presentation"). 4to. xiii, 205pp + [xvii] advertisements. Full cream buckram, lettered and decoration in red and blue at the spine and upper board with tan patterned endpapers. With various reproductions, some tipped-in and a few in colour. Buckram darkened at the backstrip with just a touch of wear to the spine ends. Some browning to the half-title, and the free endpapers very lightly spotted. A very good copy of a handsome production. Includes the essays 'The Work of Karl Klingspor' by Julius Rodenberg, 'J.E.Laboureur Illustrator' by Paul Istel, 'William Bulmer' by H.V.Marrot, 'The "Garamond" Types: A Study of XVI and XVII Century Sources' by Paul Beaujon and 'Toward an Ideal Italic' by the editor, plus many reviews..
