Complete in one volume. With steel illustrations. 1027 pages. Bound in red leather, with ornate gilt decorations and a large gilt illustration on the front cover, with the same decorations repeated on the rear cover, and ornate gilt decorations and illustrations on the spine including a portrait of Shakespeare. All page edges gilt. In GOOD condition. Moderate scuffing to the covers. Light fading to the gilt. Spine head and foot pulled and somewhat tattered with very minor loss of leather in those areas. Leather just beginning to split at the front hinges. The binding is weak at the hinges but intact. Text block solid. Moderate to heavy foxing to the preliminaries. Light but sporadic foxing throughout. One page toward the middle of the book has a few light pencil notations. I could find no other writing. Nice copy of this edition, with ornate gilt work, in GOOD condition.. Book Condition: Good. Binding: Full-Leather.
