ABBEY - Small quarto [10- 1/4 inches high by 7-1/4 inches wide], uniformly bound in cream vellum- backed gray paper covered boards with printed title labels on the spines. The top edges are gilt. The bindings are soiled & the vellum is foxed. There is light staining to the tails of the spines of the first 3 volumes. The heads of the spines are creased with the head of the spine of the first volume is lightly chipped. The title label of the second volume is chipped. 272 pages; 278 pages; 241 pages; and 254 pages, respectively. Illustrated with 122 photogravures with printed tissue guards after illustrations by Edwin A. Abbey. The hinges of the fourth volume are cracked. The edges of the tissue guards are darkened.
