Hans Frederick Arthur Schoenfeld (1889-1952), career diplomat who served in twelve U.S. embassy posts throughout Europe and Latin America, held the ticklish job of Minister to Finland during most of World War II (1937-44). Mr. Schoenfeld's Berkeley address is written on the card in ink. His card is from the papers of Carl Landauer (1891-1983), Professor of Economics, University of California, Berkeley.
