Laid-in is a snapshot taken by Peggy Guggenheim at her country place, Yew Tree Cottage, in Sussex, 1938, of George Reavey with Peggy's daughter, Pegeen, Geer van Velde, Gwynned Reavey, Samuel Beckett, and Lisl van Velde.
