Phuc, Kim and Bayin, Anne : Love - a celebration of humanity

M.I.L.K. Publishing Ltd / Headline, 2001

ISBN 0747227500

176 pages (complete). Coffee-table book format. Kim Phuc is probably the most famous 'un-named' face in photographic history. She was photographed during the Vietnam War as a young girl, running naked down the road, her skin badly burned. Now she is a UN Ambassador among other caring posts. A much owned and looked at book. The dustjacket is of thick wax paper. It is worn and marked and scuffed but is otherwise intact and tenacious. It is also affixed to the book with scotch tape. The main photograph is clear. Inside there is a gift inscription (not from the authors) on the frontispage and there are some previous ownership stamps. The contents are well thumbed. However they are firm against the binding, clear, approachable, enveloping, heartfelt and rather wonderful. fk. Book Condition: Fair. Binding: Hardcover. Jacket: Poor
