This fascinating and robust map has no publication date; however, as the Orange River Colony only existed between 1900 - 1910 is can be assumed that publication was during this period. The waxed cloth cover is in robust and stoic condition. Although there is average wear about the edges and corners the cover is firm and strong to the hold. Inside, the paper spread is cracked along the spine but still holds. The cloth map is in very good condition. There is no damage and what marking there is, is consequent to its age and use.
