FICTION Story Literature. Poetry collection by famed American author. Good to VG. No Dust Jacket. Decorative spine and cover insignia. First free end paper (ffep) was detached in photos. I have carefully reattached it, but it remains delicate. As a bookseller, the end papers are some of the most beautiful I've seen. And I'm a paper enthusiast. I think I bought the book for its end papers. 425 pages. Hardback : hard cover edition, no dust cover jacket, in good clean condition, a typical used book with some slight wear to edges and spine. Firmly readable. As to be expected with used books, there may be some minor bumping, creases, and/or scuffs. Overall a good copy. We appreciate your consideration of one of our books, art prints or novelty items. Defects: Book has a few minor defects. It is old, pages have warm tone from age. And as mention end paper is fragile. About the Author: Philip Morin Freneau (January 2, 1752 December 18, 1832) was an American poet, nationalist, polemicist, sea captain and newspaper editor sometimes called the "Poet of the American Revolution". Through his newspaper, the National Gazette, he was a strong critic of George Washington and a proponent of Jeffersonian policies.
