The original boards are worn and marked. The book is inscribed by Lady Margaret Gisborough. It has her attractive bookplate under the front board and is inscribed by her to Mr and Mrs Whiteside. Lady Gisborough is the wife of Lord Gisborough of Cleveland, a lineal descendant of Thomas Steers. Her portrait is the frontis piece of this book. Included with the book are two letters written in Lady Gisborough's distinctive hand to Mr Whiteside and dated 1933. These letters have been written on Gisboro Hall Stationery. There are no other inscriptions and the binding is excellent.. Book Condition: Very Good. Binding: Hardcover. Jacket: No Jacket
