The general condition of this comprehensive history of the renowned Cape regiment is very good and sturdy. The tartan cover has wear and tear especially at the corners, the front bottom edge, the spine head and foot and back cover top edge. The condition of the dj though is firm. The board cover is in general good condition. The front bottom edge has wear spotting. The front and back covers have faint surface stains. The foot of the spine has been very slightly damaged. The front pages have areas of discolouration and mottling. The end pages have foxing. However, from there on the pages are clean, strong, clear and firmly attached to the spine.
