Circa 1944. Original publicity photograph of Marlene Dietrich and Irving Berlin taken at the Fifty Army Camp in Italy in May, 1944. Dietrich (1901-1992) was a German-American actress and singer. Irving Berlin (1888-1989) was a Russian born composer and lyricist. He was widely considered one of the greatest songwriters in American history. Both Dietrich and Berlin toured with the USO during W.W.II. This black and white photograph was taken May, 1944 during a USO tour. Photograph shows Dietrich and Berlin sitting looking at dollar bills. Photograph has slight creases, however overall photograph is in very good condition.. Book.
