Original political poster announcing a "Dump Reagan Rally" at the Oakland Tech Auditorium in Oakland, California. Circa 1984. 14 3/4" x 21 1/4." Poster is very clean and intact except for slight wrinkling, slight age toning, a few tiny closed tears along the edges, and four pin holes in top and bottom margins. A Very Good copy. Original political poster rallying against President Ronald Reagan. The poster features the slogan, "Reagan's Gotta Go!," in red lettering and a political cartoon of a leg and foot labeled, "Labor and Friends," kicking out a caricature of Ronald Reagan who holds two signs that read, "Recovery Through Poverty" and "Peace Through War." The cartoon was illustrated by "S. Joseph." The remaining text and cartoon are in black-and-white. A small caption in the lower-right corner reads, "Daily World; Thursday, October 11, 1984," which may indicate the original publication date of the cartoon or the poster.. Ephemera.
