The portion on offer comprised pp.417 - 448, 451-454, 460-462 (verso blank, lacking small portion text on p. 462. Highlights are the classic Ptolemaic Map of Africa (p.418); Statt Algier (p.424); the full page view of Tunis (p.428) ; the mnap of the Nile Delta and Egypt (p.432) and the superb dounle page overhead view of Cairo. Numerous small woodblock engravings, including the Pyramids, fabulous beasts etc. In general a clean e4xample with wide margins, inevitably some time-stainibng and browning. A noble fragment of the greatest geographical work of its age, now bound in mid-20th Century 1/2 brown cloth, marbled boards.
