Morrill, Ex Gov. of Maine, Augusta, ME, Apr. 7, '81." Paper and signature are very clean and intact. Anson P. Morrill (1803-1887) was an American politician. He served as the 24th Governor of Maine from 1858-1861. He also served in the U.S. House of Representatives from 1861-1863 and the Maine House of Representatives.
