Very good in the original limp green pictorial calf gilt, spine mellowed, spine ends and corners rubbed, large bookplate of South African lawyer and Chancellor of the University of the Witwatersrand, Birch Bernstein, on fep. Although all the other Pooh titles were issued in simultaneous de luxe editions when first published, this seventh printing is the first de luxe issue of this title. The 10th printing of the same year also appears in a de luxe issue, but this 7th Edition is the scarcer of the two.

Extremely scarce: the other three Winnie the Pooh titles appeared in de luxe editions simultaneous with the first printings, whereas this (the first of the series) only appeared in de luxe format in 7th printing, also in 1925.
