Original letter handwritten in black ink on beige "Nurses Club" stationery. Original envelope included. September 28, 1919. 5 3/4" x 7 1/2." Three pages. Letter is very clean and intact except for age toning and a few light stains. Envelope is clean and intact overall but has some discoloration on front, age toning, and a torn right edge (likely from letter-opening). The letter and envelope are each Very Good. Isabelle McCune was as member of the United States Army Nurse Corps (USANC or ANC) which was established by U.S. Congress in 1901. McCune was stationed at the base hospital in Coblenz, Germany.
