Some extremities of the covers slightly chafed. Really quite a crisp and bright copy, retaining the original endpapers. No dust wrapper, as issued. A ten-page preface by the author precedes seven lengthy essays, plus reprints of the author's prefaces to the first (1853) and second (1854) editions of his collection 'Poems.. Book.
