This book on Cape Colony Law is by the much remembered Andries Ferdinand Maasdorp (whose appointment as Chief Justice of the Orange River Colony was more political than of legal use). The cover of this volume is in poor condition. There is much wear to all extremities and corners and seams. There are shelving marks and wear to both front and back covers. The spine has much wear to the head and foot and to both seams. Inside, however, the book is healthy and rigorous. There are several previous owner markings. There are annotations throughout. General foxing to the front pages fades out. All pages are complete, clear and firm to the binding. fk. Book Condition: Fair. Binding: Hardcover. Jacket: No Jacket
