Hotel Transatlantique : Original Hotel Ephemera - "Hotel 'Transatlantique'"

Original hotel stationery from Hotel Transatlantique, one leaf of beige paper with color illustration at top on front. The illustration shows a Middle Eastern city, palm trees, people, and camels in a dual color palette of brown and gray-blue. Stationery is used and has what appear to be handwritten travel or itinerary notes in black ink and pencil on lower half on front and the entire back. No date, circa 1920s (unfilled "192_" date). 5 1/2" x 7." Stationery has been folded in half horizontally. Stationery is clean and intact overall but has age toning and light to moderate wrinkling throughout. A Good copy. Hotel Transatlantique was a chain of hotels that appeared to have been based in Morocco, Algeria, and Tunisia. Below the illustration is printed text that reads, "Hotel 'Transatlantique," as well as the following printed list denoting the hotel's locations in different cities: "Memes hotels a Marrakech, Casablanca, Rabat, Meknes, Fez, Taza, Oudjda [Oujda], Figuig, Tlemcen, Tenes, Boghar, Laghouat, Michelet, Bougie, Constantine, Batna, Biskra, Touggourt, El Oued, Bone, Tunis, Tozeur." Today's hotels of the same name may be a continuation of the original Hotel Transatlantique chain.. Ephemera. Book Condition: Collectible-Good. Binding: No Binding
